I have known individuals who have enriched themselves on the stock market by managing tenth rate shares and others who have been ruined with premium rate shares. It is very much a question of the individual.  There are people who are born to do this job, and others who are born to get their fingers burned by it. I don’t think I am exaggerating when I say that you belong to the latter, but if you are not convinced, you are at liberty to continue the exercise, I ask only to be convinced to the contrary.

Eh bien, si paradoxal que cela puisse paraître, je puis t'affirmer que cela dépend en premier lieu de la personne qui opère. J'ai connu des individus qui se sont enrichis en Bourse en opérant sur des valeurs de dixième ordre, et d'autres qui se sont ruinés avec des valeurs de père de famille. Ceci est une question tout à fait personnelle. Il y a des gens qui sont nés pour faire ce métier, et d'autres qui sont nés pour s'y brûler les doigts. Je ne crois pas exagérer en disant que tu appartiens à ces derniers, mais si tu n'en es pas convaincu, tu es libre de continuer l'expérience, je ne demande qu'à être convaincu du contraire.
