Vous me comprendriez très mal si vous croyiez que j'entends renier en quoi que ce soit un être qui me semble tout à fait délicat, sympathique, et qui a été si gentil (et est remarquablement intelligent). Mais je veux dire que je le connais peu, depuis peu de temps<ref name="n9" />. Cela n'empêche pas que nous ne soyions fort en sympathie, j'ai eu en lui le lecteur le plus assidu et le plus compréhensif et il a été à plusieurs reprises serviable et charmant pour moi. Il est bien souffrant, lui aussi.
