Information for connecting to the open hour will be posted here shortly.
Our open hour welcomes students, scholars, and others working in DH interested in discussing strategies for adapting Microsoft Office 365’s cloud-hosted Sharepoint along with MediaWiki for multilingual DH projects. Our team’s experience comes from our work on the '''''[http://corrproust.org Corr-Proust]''''' project, a collaboration of scholars at French and American institutions publishing a digital, annotated edition of the correspondence of the French writer Marcel Proust. Our project uses Microsoft Office’s SharePoint as a multilingual interface to manage workflow and store data, and MediaWiki as a platform for crowdsourcing translations of Proust’s letters.

Open Hour: Using Microsoft SharePoint and MediaWiki for a Multilingual DH Project

April 29, 2021, 3:30-4:30 CT

Our open hour welcomes students, scholars, and others working in DH interested in discussing strategies for adapting Microsoft Office 365’s cloud-hosted Sharepoint along with MediaWiki for multilingual DH projects. Our team’s experience comes from our work on the Corr-Proust project, a collaboration of scholars at French and American institutions publishing a digital, annotated edition of the correspondence of the French writer Marcel Proust. Our project uses Microsoft Office’s SharePoint as a multilingual interface to manage workflow and store data, and MediaWiki as a platform for crowdsourcing translations of Proust’s letters.
