The Corr-Proust Wiki is made possible by support from the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States

The Corr-Proust Wiki is a platform for translating the correspondence of the French writer Marcel Proust (1871-1922). Using original transcriptions in French from the Corr-Proust digital edition, the Wiki serves as a collaborative space where scholars and fans of Proust can translate his letters, making them available in multiple languages to readers worldwide. Please visit the About page for more details.

The Corr-Proust Digital Edition

The Corr-Proust digital edition, which serves as the basis for the Corr-Proust Wiki, is an ongoing open-access digital edition of Marcel Proust’s letters, updating and augmenting earlier print editions. It is produced by a French-American research consortium of three institutions: the University of Illinois, the Université Grenoble Alpes, and the Institut des textes et manuscrits modernes (CNRS / ENS Paris).

Content published on the Corr-Proust Wiki is collaboratively developed using MediaWiki software: individual contributions are recognized in the final footnote of each letter. While all content on the Wiki can be viewed by anyone, registration and sign-in are required to contribute content.
