Cher Monsieur, mais je voudrais dire désormais cher ami,
Vous croyez que je néglige votre papier[2], quand je me débats pour forcer les cadres trop étroits, ridiculement étroits, du Matin[3]. Déjà j'ai fait composer en huit. Cela ne suffit pas. Je vous en prie, et Jouvenel aussi, pouvez-vous couper trente lignes[4] ? Il passerait tout de suite. Ne m'en veuillez pas.
